You'd think that after a while the NPS would get the point. Think Again...
New River Gorge National River NPS owned “scenic” property on New River Road to Sandstone Falls (WV). WHEN does “scenic” value begin with the NPS? ONLY AFTER they take our homes and allow them to deteriorate to this stage?
While LaCrosse Encephalitis and the West Nile Virus (carried by the mosquito) threaten the health and lives of American Citizens, this National Park Service SWAMP is the ONLY overnight public camping area along New River Road to Sandstone Falls. (WV). The NPS has justified this SWAMP’S existence in a letter to Senator John D. Rockefeller, IV, as a “vernal pool for wildlife." Sure makes us want to camp there overnight?
