Over the last several months the condition of the road has been worsening
greatly. Right down through the high traffic, tourist months, several huge
potholes have opened up. Has the state or NPS done anything to address
these problems: No. It's a great slogan for tourists:
"Visit the New River - Bring Extra Tires!" If economic
development and tourism along this corridor is so important to the region, why
don't they take care of what roads they have now!? What's the real intent
of the Parkway?
