Petition Drive

SUCCESS! Thanks to the help and support of the American Policy Center, our petition drive has netted New River
 Friends/Sisters of the River 14,000 individually petitions against the parkway plan. Approximately 7,000 individual
ones signed by people across this nation to Rep. Rahall, and 7,000 individual ones signed by the same 
people across this nation to Senator Byrd. We received them in two 50#  boxes and one 30# box by Fed Ex.  
That's 7,000 ordinary Americans, supporting our struggle.

If you'd like to sign the petition, you still can! Just create a petition like below and return it to us: The private property owners along the New River in Raleigh County West Virginia still need your help.  If you can print out  and complete (or get any) signatures on the following petition, please, return them to  the:

PETITION OPPOSING THE CURRENT NEW RIVER PARKWAY PLAN

In as much as we value private property, private enterprise, the economy of Hinton proper and the natural resources of the New River: 

We, the undersigned, strongly oppose the construction of the New River Parkway on the West side of the New River
and/or so immediately adjacent to the New River from I-64 to the Route 20 By-pass of Hinton, West Virginia as is currently planned.
