Make Sure Environmental Studies cited in planning are actually done in the Project Area -

Write to the Secretary of the Department of highways, tell them that in their plans they should be citing environmental studies actually done in the project area (they are not!).

Contact Your Elected Leaders  -

Please help us in our fight to preserve the way of life in the New River Valley and to protect the rights of and value of private property owners.   The current Parkway plan is wrong for West Virginia, wrong for taxpayers, and will set a horrible precedent for property owners elsewhere in our beloved Nation. We need a  New River Parkway that is truly for the good of everyone.  The current parkway plan and project does not meet this standard.

To help us, write or call  your elected leaders.  This includes your U. S. Senators or  U.S. Congress Representative.  Tell them not to lend support for the New River Parkway project as long the program plan is to forcibly remove the people from the Valley. Tell them the current plan is unacceptable. Tell them you expect them to vote to protect the rights and interests of all people in the valley.
