  Broken Promises

"They made us many promises, more than I can remember. But they kept but one, they promised to take our land and they took it" -- Chief RedCloud

Chief RedCloud was a Sioux Indian Chief, warrior, and in the end a peace maker. While we certainly don't advocate the violence he led in the early years of his life, nor do we believe we have been treated as poorly as the Indians have (not yet anyway), we too are people who are  unable to defend ourselves against a government who wants to take our land and has broken promises.  It is important to note that in his latter years of life, Chief RedCloud worked diligently for peace and co-existence with the government.

We were promised ten years ago that this road would not affect our place in the valley.  Then they changed their promise.  Has anything really changed in 100 years?

Stop the Land Grab - It's not necessary.
