There are many alternatives to the current Parkway Plan:
 | For All Concerned: Revert to a plan other than the preferred alternative that is more in keeping with the original purpose and stated goal of the parkway and accommodates all people of the valley. |
| Make improvements to the existing road instead of building a brand new road and calling it a parkway. |
| For those landowners who do not want to leave and where space is available, route the road around their houses or move their homes to a different location on the same property. |
| As a last resort, buy out the landowners, but grant a lifetime, rent free, tax free lease to the owner and heirs that allows them to stay on the property. |
Why don't we list conservation/scenic easements, as an alternative? There are serious issues with conservation/scenic easements that are not well known.
